VibeHire – Hire Terms Summary

This is a plain-English summary. The full Terms & Conditions apply to all hires.

Ownership

• All equipment remains owned by VibeHire. You are hiring it for a limited time only.

Responsibility & Risk

• When the gear is delivered or collected, you become responsible for it.
• This includes damage, theft, loss, misuse, and improper operation.

Setup & Site

• Once VibeHire has set up the equipment and left the site, we are not responsible for what happens at your event.
• You must not move the equipment to any other location without written permission.

Public Liability

• You must have (or be covered by) public liability insurance for your event.
• VibeHire is not responsible for injury or damage caused by equipment once we are not present.

Deposit & Payment

• Pricing and required bond/deposit amounts are shown on the Xero quote or invoice.
• Bond deductions will only be made for actual loss or damage.

Cancellation

• Cancelling within 48 hours of the hire start date may result in the full hire fee being charged.

Breakdown & Problems

• If the equipment has an issue, you must notify us immediately. We will repair or replace where appropriate.

Site Access & Removal Rights

• VibeHire may access the site to inspect or adjust equipment.
• If equipment is being used unsafely or at risk of damage, VibeHire may remove it.
• If equipment is removed for misuse, a 50% refund of the remaining hire period applies. No further compensation is owed.

Maximum Liability

• VibeHire’s maximum liability to you is limited to $8,000 NZD.
